The Collective Student Ministry: 7th – 12th Grade
At Masterpiece, we know this generation has experienced life like no other before them. We believe God is raising up these young people for such a time as this. We desire to walk alongside each student to help equip them to pursue an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ passionately and to grow in His saving knowledge. We want to provide a safe place to ask the hard questions and to investigate the scriptures, so that each student has a firm foundation built on the truth of God’s word. Our heart is to see our students use their unique gifts to serve the Lord and serve others. The Collective Students are a vibrant group of like-minded believers and we want you to know that you have a place here! We meet each Wednesday evening at 6:30pm and hold special events all throughout the year! You belong here, come join us!
Level Up: 5th – 6th Grade
The years of development of 5th and 6th grade are some of the most important in a child’s life. This is why we started “Level Up” at Masterpiece Church. “Level Up” offers pre-teens a place to belong, feel loved and grow in their relationship with Christ. Through fun games, interactive worship and challenging teaching, kids will “level up” from a childlike faith in Jesus to a more mature faith that is better prepared to face the challenges of teen life.
“Level Up” is a place where kids:
- Learn they are God’s Masterpiece in Jesus
- Realize God has a plan for their life
- Make friends who encourage them to follow God’s plan
- Have fun while learning how to love and worship God with their life
“Level Up” is a place where kids learn how to read and study the Bible, pray and enjoy a personal relationship with Jesus. They will learn what the Bible says about truth, faith and how to live in the power of Christ. This is a place where kids can develop the skills to live and defend their faith. Our hope is that pre-teens graduate from “Level Up” with a deep love for Jesus which motivates them to want His way of doing things.
Masterpiece Kids: Birth Through 4th Grade
At Masterpiece Church, we want children and their families to know they are loved by God and that He has a purpose for their life. God loves us and wants each of us to be in relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that once we enter a relationship with God, He makes our life something new and wonderful. In Ephesians 2:10, God calls our new life in Jesus a “Masterpiece.” God’s purpose for our new life is that we might enjoy Him and be a part of the good things He is doing in the world around us.
Our desire is to help children realize who they might become in Jesus and His plan for their life. Through Bible stories, games, fun STEM projects and LOUD worship, Brooke Barker and her crew of adult volunteers take kids on a journey through the “Gospel Project” where they lay a foundation for kids to begin their journey as God’s Masterpiece.
